I was bored and I wanted to practice a peacock look.

This is the result:

I wanted to make it a bit over the top and tried to get the "feathery" look. My favorite combination is green/purple so I love this eotd

I would definitely wear this during the day as I'm not afraid to wear dark/bold eye make up (eyeglasses tone down the whole look).

How do you like it?
Would you wear something similar?

p.s.-I'm not really good with writing funny and interesting posts, and I don't like to force myself to be interesting if I'm not feeling it so I'll let the pictures do the talking :)
I love reading other people's posts, but I suck at writing :D

Big thanks to everyone who entered!

I wanted to do a small giveaway for my birthday which was ten days ago, but one part of the prize was late because of the Christmas/NY eBay gridlock.

I know some people perceive giveaways as a cry for new followers, but the main reason I'm doing this is because of the essence Once Upon a Time. This one is the most coveted part of the essence Fairytale TE, and when I came upon the last one at the drugstore, I knew I had to buy it, even though I had my own copy.

What to do with one extra copy of the nail polish? Use it to build a giveaway around it

Next part of the prize is Poshe super fast drying top coat. I ordered one for me and one extra for this giveaway.

My favorite nail polishes of the essence I Love Berlin TE (Green Grass and Berlin Story) are a part of the prize, too.

Black out is the perfect black eyeshadow from the essence Black and White TE. I love it, it's well pigmented and huge (3,5g).

Least, but not the last, you can win one e.l.f. Make-up mist and set. This is what e.l.f. say about it:

The lightweight, comfortable and alcohol free formula improves makeup wearability and prevents color from running or fading.
Spray on after makeup application to set makeup in place or during the day for a quick touchup to refresh.

This is what you can win, if you decide to enter:

Everything is brand new and unopened and bought by me.

Rules are simple:

- you must be a visible follower via Google Friend Connect and leave your follower name and e-mail in comments (1 entry)
- my old followers will get 1 additional entry if they decide to enter (1 entry)
- add me to your blogroll (3 entries
- add this giveaway to your blog sidebar and leave a link to your blog (5 entries)
- mention this giveaway in your blog post and leave a link to your post (5 entries)

This makes 15 entries if you decide to enter

This giveaway is opened internationally and will end March 1st at noon (GMT+1)

Thank you all for being a part of my little corner of interwebz

If you think I've forgotten something, please let me know.

In the previous post I showed you the palette that is a part of the latest essence Trend Edition, I Love Berlin.
I'm really tired so I won't bother you with my ramblings. I'm off to watch the latest episode of Bones, and I hope you will like my EOTD and my tamed eyebrows

"Booth: [talking about a baby] He looks a little fussy there. Why don't you pick him up and give him a cuddle?
Brennan: Just because I have breasts doesn't mean I have magical power over infants!"

Finally, my package from enchantedbeautyspot arrived, and it contained Poshe' fast drying topcoat. I was so happy I had to try it on one of the most slow drying nail polishes I've ever tried.

A year of so ago my mom got me Chanel Red Dream. At that time I wasn't really into nail polish but I was happy to have an expensive and good quality nail polish...or so I thought. This sucker is so slow drying, I've never worn it before. It took hours and hours of drying only to be messed up by trying to lace up my shoes.

This is my first time applying Poshe, and I noticed some shrinkage, but maybe my application was wrong? I don't know, I'll try to do it better next time.
Great thiong is, after 15 minutes or so, Chanel was completely dry. I was so happy because the shade is gorgeous. It's a deep red with red microglitter. The only bad thing is that tipwear is terrible. This is my manicure after only one day.

Sorry for the tipwear, I plan to remove this one. I probably won't wear it at all since I'm not really into red nail polish, and I don't like Chanel nail polish at all.
I don't know if I sound a bit snobbish but I'll stick to essence and Catrice for the time being :D

In my next post I will show you an EOTD with my new essence I Love Berlin eyeshadow palette.

I love it! It will save me so much baggage space when I go somewhere for a weekend :D

Have you tried any Chanel nail polish? Do they all dry very slow?
What about Poshe', does it cause shrinkage, or I did something wrong?
Hello, guys

Tomorrow is a big day, and not just because it's my birthday. I'm finally getting my master's degree, and I'm a bit of a nervous wreck. I've set up the whole thing at Monday, which gave me only two day to prepare my presentation, outfit, food for party afterwards, thesis binding and everything else. I'm even baking the second batch of brownies right now :D

I'll keep this short, so you can understand the title of this post. This is one coat of e.l.f. Dark Navy with two coats of Golden Rose nail polish with blue glitter.

I hope you like it as much as I do

I know I'm 7 (+14 for Christmas) days late with greetings, that's why I wish you all to have a great year.
I went home for Christmas, and after that I was busy, so I couldn't post an update. To compensate, this one will be picture heavy. I hope you won't mind.

Christmas was great, my whole family was together. I really miss those moments, they are so precious. This is our Christmas tree. We have a fake, plastic tree, because we decided it's more eco-friendly than buying a dead tree every year. Potted tree is unfortunately not an option since we have dogs that would chew up the tree if it was on the floor. This year we wanted to have a really fun tree, so we put on every single decoration we had.

My little sister loves to make home-made Christmas cards, and this is my contribution.

Now, onto the make-up :)

Sadly, I haven't had the time to do my nails while I was home, but I took some pictures of my Christmas mass look.

I used the e.l.f. 100 eyeshadow palette that I got my sister for Christmas. I loved it so much that I ordered one for myself.

Make-up artist for the next look is my little 10-year-old sister. As you can see, she is a diamond in the rough ;)

For the New year's eve, I was home with my boyfriend and our little golden retriever puppy, Sam. Sam is a girl puppy, and her name is tribute to one of the greatest female sci-fi caracters, Samantha "Sam" Carter :)
Sorry for the bad picture quality, it was taken with the iPhone.

I wanted to experiment with the make-up for the New year's eve, so I made this:

These new alverde gel liners are great, I love them :)

And last, but not the least, make-up from the day before. I played some more with gel liner, and I came up with this. Gel liners are fun :)

This is my mega update, I hope you'll like at least some of it :)

My next blog post will be soon, I promise. I even plan to host a mini giveaway for my birthday, which is very soon ;) I still need to buy some more parts of the giveaway prize, but I can tell you that one of it will be Once Upon a Time nail polish from the essence Fairytale collection :) I managed to get one brand new, for this giveaway, they were almost all sold out.

I know that I don't have many followers, but I appreciate every one of you guys, thank you for reading and commenting

Until the next time, have a great start of the year :)
