By now you must know that we all had a great time at Avon Beauty Blog Day Croatia 2015.
I won't be writing about it since I believe everything is covered by a lot of other bloggers, and I can't add anything to it, other that I had a great time, and finally had met Žana (Nail crazy) and Petra (The Brush Stash).

I love this event as it brings the beauty blogger community closer together, makes us (well, at least me) rethink out approach to blogging, and it's a great opportunity to present to all of us the new products of BBD's sponsors.

I feel obligated to mention (because I fell in love with it) Foreo Luna, the only skincare gadget that I'm sure I'll be buying as soon as I save a bit of money. I really can't wait to get it, and not even it's high price (around 1300kn) is not bringing down my enthusiasm.

I'm also really excited about Biobaza's Hydraradiance skincare range with parsley and Avon's Nutra effects Radiance daily face cream.

Today, I will show you one of my favorite manicures, a really simple but extremely eye-catching combination of two beautiful nail polishes.

I wore this to Avon Beauty Blog Day, and if you follow me on Instagram, you had already seen it.




Chanel Vendetta is my favourite nail polish, and if you had to choose and get only one Chanel nail polish, I would wholeheartedly recommend you Vendetta. It's a perfect midnight blue with a hint of purple (blurple?) nail polish. It's a one coater and it dries instantly. therefore, it's perfect for layering under glitters and flakies.




Essence Party in a Bottle is a glitterbomb filled with teal and green hexagonal glitter particles of different size.

Together, Vendetta and Party in a Bottle are a perfect combination.

Pictured here are also my favourite nail polish base (essence studio nails ultra strong nail hardener), and the best top coat in the world (Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat).




Seriously, look at that sparkle!

It's also super long lasting, as it stayed without a chip for a whole week.

Pretpostavljam da ste ovih dana zatrpani press objavam najnovije Illamasquine kolekcije, I'Mperfection :D
S obzirom da dosad sve već znate o njoj, mislim da je suvišno napisati još jedan post gdje gledate jedne te iste slike :D
Zasad bih vam htjela skrenut pažnju na dva posta, sa swatchevima lakova iz navedene kolekcije:

• Blanka je swatchala sve freckled lakove iz ove kolekcije

I presume you've been swamped with the press releases of the new Illamasqua collection, called I'Mperfection :D
Considering you probably know everything there is to know about it, I think it would be redundant to write another post where you get to see the same photos over and over again.
For now, I would like to show you two posts that have swatches of the I'Mperfection nail polish:

Kolekcija mi se jako sviđa, kist se čini super, a jako želim vidjeti kako zeleno sjajilo izgledan na usnama :)
Lakovi su mi isto lijepi, iako nisam preveliki ljubitelj pastelnih boja, ali ova fora sa crnim šljokicama mi je baš super :)
Naravno, čim sam vidjela slike lakova, sjetila sam se da ja već imam nešto slično :D

I really like the collection, especially the brush, and I can't wait to see that grass green lip-gloss on my lips :D
Nail polishes are really pretty, although I'm not a big fan of pastels, but i really like this cool thing they did with black glitter :)
Of course, when I saw the photos of the nail polish, I remembered I already have a similar thing in my stash.

Nepravda ispravljena, nalakirala sam ga i predivan je.
krasno se maže, dovoljna su dva sloja za potpuno prekrivanje, ali ja sam stavila tri, za svaki slučaj.
Lee je prava majstorica za frankene i nadam se da će jednom osnovat svoju tvrtku i mućkat frankenlakove.
Unaprijed se bilježim za besplatne uzorke :zubo:

A wrong set right, I painted my nails with it, and it's beautiful :)
It glides on perfectly, it takes only two layers for good coverage, but i painted three, just in case.
Lee is a real expert in frankening and i hope that she will start her own indie nail polish company and make frankenpolish.



Molim vas da zanemarite moje ultrakratke nokte, zanemarivala sam ih jako dugo i sad će trebat neko vrijeme da se vrate na oku ugodno :/

Please don't look at the state of my nails, I've been neglecting them far too long, it will take some time for them to go back to normal.

Dorothy Who? je krasni lak koji se sastoji od jelly plave baze i srebrnog i plavog glittera. Na slici su dva sloja, uz nadlak za brzo sušenje, iako se i sam dosta brzo suši.

Usput, iritira li vas watermark s adresom bloga na slikama?
ostao mi je u Lightroomu naštiman iako ga nisam mislila stavljati, ali mislim da ne bode pretjerano u oči :/

Now after that shameless self-promotion I want to show you my favorite red nail polish.
Meet a nail polish with a very inovative name, MNY 265 ;)

It's a berry red shade that needs tree coats for full opacity, and is a perfect jelly infused with holographic glitter.
It's not packed with it, but it gives the jelly depth and makes it unique.

Look at this beauty :)
Every time I see my nails I think of sugar covered jelly candy.

I finally went through my vacation photos, and I have another "vacation mani" post :)

Essence Hello holo is an absolute winner. It makes any manicure last for days, without even getting a tip wear.
I applied essence You're a heartbreaker from 50's girls reloaded TE, but it made bubbles so I had to camouflage it.
I chose Hello holo and I must say, that was a great decision.

The mani lasted for 6 days and the only damage was a slight chapping on my thumb and a slightest of tip wears.

I spend my days going to the beach, sunbathing and enjoying the beautiful Adriatic sea.

As I used up my bottle of Poshe to the last drop, I needed a fast drying nail polish. The best in that category is e.l.f. Dark Navy. It stains my nails like hell, but it dries in a minute. I wanted to bling my manicure up a bit, so I added a layer of essence Circus Confetti :)

     I know St. Paddy's Day is the old news, but I wanted to share my last week's mani with you.
I used one layer of essence I'm a Berliner from I Love Berlin TE and one layer of my frankened Julia from the last post.




      I didn't want to do simple green nails, and Julia did a great job making them special :)
The next day I added one more layer of Julia, and it was even more beautiful. I really liked how the holo glitter sparkled in the sun.


    Just one thing, though, be sure you always have enough aluminium foil and nail polish remover stocked, especially after sporting glitter nail polish. I almost had FML moment yesterday, when I wanted to remove this mani. I had a smidge of nail polish remover, and no foil whatsoever. I tried to ration my nail polish remover and used plastic foil instead of aluminium. It worked, but it was very impractical.

Tip of the day:
Always stock additional bottle of nail polish remover!

I'm always disappointed when I realize that the beautiful should-be-glitter-bomb nail polish takes a gazillion layers to get more or less opaque. The same thing is with Julia, an essence twins glitter topper. I know it shouldn't be opaque because it's supposed to serve as a decoration for Romeo, but I think Julia should be emancipated enough to be single ;)

How to do it? Search eBay for holo glitter, buy it, stalk your postman, squeal like a little girl when you get you sparkly goodness and try not to talk your boyfriend ear off how great the holo effect looks under the sunlight. Take your future glitter bomb bottle and glitter jar, make a paper funnel with a small enough opening that can fit into the neck of the polish bottle, and go glitter crazy :)




I wanted to try it the minute I finished it, so I put the one layer of pre-blinged Julia on my ring finger, and two layers of post-frankened Julia on my other fingers (over the essence Once Upon a Time). You can really see the difference, right?









Sadly, it was the night and I had to take it off before going to sleep, so I don't have a picture under sunlight.
